The 红领巾快报 (红领巾快报) is committed to providing students with information on the many scholarships and bursaries available. The financial aid provided through these scholarships and bursaries can help make post-secondary education more affordable.
The 红领巾快报 subscribes to The Scholarship Report and The Trades Report. These are online resources with direct links to national and provincial scholarship, bursary and award listings for students pursuing all post-secondary pathways.
Accessing these resources will help students gain practical tips for locating and applying to scholarships. Updated information on the Ontario Student Assistance Plan (OSAP) is included. Scholarships for Black and Indigenous students are also available. Students may see their Guidance Counsellor to obtain the password for the The Scholarship Report and The Trades Report.

There are a variety of scholarships and bursaries available through local, provincial and national organizations. We encourage all graduating students to review these opportunities and apply if eligible. Some of these scholarships receive few or no applications so be sure to apply if you are eligible.

Romanian Community Scholarship 2024 2502 Cypress Windsor, ON Canada N8P OA7 Scholarship Program
Eligibility: Candidates must be graduating from secondary school or already attending a university or college and continuing their education. Candidates must be the children of a parent of Romanian ancestry. The candidate and/or parent must live in the Windsor-Essex County area. Recognition may be considered for involvement with the sponsoring organization.
Number of Awards: One scholarship or more can be awarded annually. Each will be valued from $500.00 to $1,000.00.
Qualifications: Priority will be given to students going into their first year of post secondary education. Good grades (transcript needed) and involvement in both school activities and community activities will be evaluated. The needs of each candidate will be considered . Applications must include a letter of reference.
Payment: The treasurer of the sponsoring organization will pay the amount awarded to each student who has been selected after confirming that the student is duly enrolled and is in attendance at an accredited college or university in a program leading to a diploma or degree.
Responsibility of Candidate: Each candidate must submit: 1) the application form 2) an information letter 3) an official transcript 4) a letter of reference
